The rooms were exceptionally nice, exactly as in the pictures. The hotel was very close to the Costa Rican lush jungle, next to a river and pure nature.

Tbh, had a lovely stay for our first night in Costa Rica. The hotel was a super base for enjoying a stunning area, short walk to a magnificent waterfall, LA paz Botanica gardens and waterfalls, which was a beautiful drive to the very top of the mountains and Guápiles. The rooms were exceptionally nice and big, included a sitting area and a private entrance. Its river view and helpful staff were the key features!

We had a really nice stay for our first night in Costa Rica. The staff were affable and made us feel welcome. The location was marvellous, nestled in the jungle. The hotel was near the waterfalls in nearby Rio Blanco and had a beautiful garden. It was also within a 5-minute walk from a swimming hole.

My daughter and I had a fantastic first night of our trip at Casa Rio Blanco Eco Friendly B&B. Herbie, the host, was amazing and made us feel right at home. The cabin we stayed in was impeccably clean and the surroundings were like paradise. We fell in love with Herbie's friendly dog and cat. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the food provided was the best we had in Costa Rica. Herbie was a great conversationalist and the perfect host. We only wish we had stayed longer to fully enjoy this wonderful place.

The staff here was incredibly helpful and offered helpful suggestions for nearby attractions, while the double room was spacious and well-equipped with a comfortable bed, private bathroom, shower, and towels.

The meals prepared by the host were delicious, showcasing the local flavors of the region. The location was ideal for those looking to go rafting on the Pacuare River, as it was only a short distance away. the peaceful atmosphere provided a much-needed refuge from the busy city life.

It seemed that the owners were not frequently present, which may have contributed to this issue. Another drawback was the lack of trust in providing guests with a key to the gate, making it inconvenient to go out for early walks and excursions.

our second stay in guapiles was even more amazing than the first! casa rio blanco eco friendly b&b surpassed our expectations with its cozy rooms, warm hospitality, and delicious homemade meals. we loved the tranquil setting by the river and the opportunity to spot wildlife in the lush rainforest. can't wait to return!

Located in a beautiful area surrounded by lush greenery and a relaxing river nearby. The cabins were rustic but comfortable, and the host was friendly and accommodating. The local flora and fauna were fascinating, and we enjoyed being immersed in nature. A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Not the most convenient location, especially without your own car. The lack of WiFi in the rooms was a bit inconvenient, and the signal in the evenings was weak in the dining area.
